On 8 July 2026, the Albufeira Group of Schools hosted the accredited training session  « Erasmus+: Learning and Rewarding Experiences », organised in partnership with the Training Centre CFAE Albufeira, Lagoa and Silves, by Dr. Naseema Saiyad.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to disseminate the Erasmus+ Programme and highlight the transformative impact of European mobility on both teachers and students.

A key moment of the session was the dissemination of our Erasmus+ ODDience 2030 Project, with students proudly sharing their learning mobility experiences in Brussels (Belgium) and Barcelona (Spain).  Through their inspiring presentations, they demonstrated how international experiences nurture active citizenship, strengthen sustainability awareness, encourage intercultural dialogue, and develop key competences for lifelong learning.

Teachers also shared inspiring experiences from other Erasmus+ mobilities in Italy, Poland, and Slovenia, illustrating how Erasmus+ continue to transform educational practices, inspire innovation, and reinforce the European dimension of education.

A heartfelt thank you to all speakers, participants and especially to our students, whose enthusiasm, commitment, and personal stories truly brought the Erasmus+ spirit to life. You are the best ambassadors for European cooperation!

We also extend our sincere thanks to Headteacher Ilena Gonçalves, CFAE Director Silvério Conceição, and to the Vocational Bar and Catering students and teachers, excellent coffee break added a warm and welcoming touch to this memorable event.

Together, we continue building a more inclusive, innovative and sustainable Europe through education.

To conclude the mobility with a key learning experience, the group explored the Montseny Natural Park. This moment allowed direct contact with the local flora and fauna.
With their return to Albufeira, the students bring back not only memories of an enriching intercultural experience, but also solutions and ideas that can inspire the transformation of their own community towards a greener future.

The gathering around the dinner table at the end of such productive days could not be missed.
